Oke Agidan 2013 (photos)

The annual Ifa festival for Oyo took place on the 13th of April 2013 at Oke Agidan in Oyo where the irunmole are known to have descended in times past. I got there about 4 hours late and my camcorder was a bit dysfunctional so I don’t have as much pictures as I would have liked, including that of the hill itself. Participants approached and ascended the hill from the south and descended northward.

The video is not so clear even though I recorded it in HD – perhaps I’ll edit and re-upload later. Descriptions of the photos will be added later.

I still have about 2 photos to add later.

I hope more of my people will be encouraged to partake in their traditional festivals and share their experiences.
